Since the Switch 2 was officially released, there have been constant doubts.One of them is its appearance, which some players think is more like a Switch Pro than a 2.In response, Nintendo President Shuntaro Furukawa responded at a recent financial report meeting.

Furukawa said that while the Switch 2 may look like the Switch 1, the Switch 2 was actually completely redesigned from scratch!

“The appearance of the Nintendo Switch 2 may not look much different about the hardware innovation questions you raised. However, its hardware and peripherals have actually been redesigned from scratch.”

Nintendo also said that games on Switch 2, such as Mario Kart: World and Donkey Kong: All-Opening, are simply "unable" on Switch 1!

“To achieve one of Nintendo’s most important values, namely ‘proposing new gameplay’, game developers need higher hardware processing performance. We believe Mario Kart: World and Donkey Kong: All-Opening propose new gameplay that Switch can’t achieve.”
