Nintendo and local dealers have confirmed that the Switch 2 will not be available in Central America and the Caribbean this year.
According to Teletica, Nintendo held a meeting with local dealers yesterday to confirm that its next-generation console, Switch 2 (as well as gaming and peripherals), will not be launched in both regions this year.
Nintendo reportedly decided to postpone the launch of the console because the market size of Central America and the Caribbean is too small to be worthy of the official launch.
As a result, players in both regions have no choice but to import from the United States or elsewhere, and the import price is much higher than the original price of about $610 in these two regions.
Given the strong demand for Switch 2, it will be difficult for players who are not in the official launch area of Switch 2 unless these people are willing to spend more money. While this console is priced slightly higher than most people expect, its rich features and powerful starting lineup make it an attractive product.
