"Far Cry 4" is updated and can now run 60 frames on PS5

"Far Cry 4" ushered in an update 1.08 ten years after its release. Currently, the game can run 60 frames per second on PS5.

Ubisoft's open world game previously locked 30 frames, and now Ubisoft has released a new update patch that removes the 30 frame limit and allows the game to run at higher frame rates on PS5.

Far Cry 4 has been running at 60 frames on Xbox Series X since 2021, when Microsoft introduced its FPS boost feature, and Far Cry 4 was one of the first app games.

Ubisoft has returned to several old games in recent years, increasing their frame rates.

Last year, Ubisoft added 60FPS support for Assassin's Creed PS5 and Xbox Series X (through backward compatibility).The 60FPS patch also adds 4K resolution to the PS5, PS5 Pro and Xbox Series X.

In 2022, Ubisoft released a 60fps patch for Assassin's Creed: Origins.Prior to this, Ubisoft added 60fps support for the 2018 old game Assassin's Creed Odyssey PS5 and Xbox Series X (through backward compatibility).

Far Cry 4 will join Game Pass this week along with other games such as "Get Him Love 5" and "Neon White".
