"Ninja Gaiden 4" will be released in a few weeks, containing about 15 to 20 hours of plot content, as well as challenge missions, Ninja Master difficulty and other content.However, the game also plans to launch a DLC called "Two Heroes" after its release.

In an interview with the "Official Xbox Podcast", Platinum Studio producer Yuji Jioo and Team Ninja director Masasaku Hirayama confirmed that the DLC will be launched in early 2026.It will add new weapons to Ryu and Yakumo, with the former getting twin pincer-like gauntlets and the latter getting a giant scythe.

Each weapon offers players "unique characteristics" and "rich mechanics," but that's not all.The "Two Heroes" DLC also contains new plot content after the basic game story, which will be unfolded from the perspectives of the two characters.Players can also look forward to post-clearance challenge content that is separate from the base game.

"There is a lot of content for players to dive into," Hirayama said. "Once more details are available, we can't wait to share them with players."

The Two Heroes DLC is included in the Deluxe Edition, which costs $89.99."Ninja Gaiden 4" will be launched on Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC platforms on October 21, and will also be added to Xbox Game Pass on the first day of release.
