At the Archipel Caravan event, "Devil May Cry 5" director Hideaki Itsuno revealed that when he designed the rhythm of "Devil May Cry 5", he was actually inspired by "potato chip time"!
He said that when designing game scenes, he would deliberately arrange the rhythm so that players can clearly know when they can "take a break to eat potato chips."He hopes that through story animations (cut scenes), players will have a chance to relax from the intense battle and eat some potato chips.
Itsuno also mentioned that when making the game, he imagined that players would only have about one hour to play the game after returning home from get off work every day, so he specially adjusted the rhythm of the game so that players can get a fulfilling and enjoyable experience during this one-hour game time.
