EA announced on X that the first-day patch contains more than 200 changes, mainly focusing on "bug fixes, balance improvements and optimizations."

These changes include: movement changes to make the experience "more responsive", automatic weapon recoil rebalancing to make "long-range shooting more distinctive" and layout adjustments to "Assault" and "Breakthrough" to "better balance offense and defense."

Other tweaks include: network optimization to reduce desynchronization, audio optimization to make pings easier to hear, expansion of settings and control options, and more.
