After the launch of the third season update of "First Descendant" (including new hoverbikes and rest area elements), players are full of expectations for the future plans of Nexon Games' treasure-grabbing shooting game. The developer does not plan to continue to add non-combat content, but hopes to deeply expand based on existing game content.
Game director Zhu Minxi revealed in an interview with foreign media AUTOMATON Japan that the recent update plan will focus on optimizing new elements such as suspended motorcycles and rest areas. In a previous update, a collision mechanism was added to the hoverbike, allowing players to hit enemies and knock them back.Zhu Minxi said that such updates prove that Nexon does not simply pile up new content, but improves player experience through continuous improvement.
The newly launched Exiwen Plains map will also be injected with more content to increase the density of gameplay.Existing areas, such as dungeons, will serve as stages for gameplay such as special events.
This doesn't mean First Descendants will stop adding new content.Version 1.3.6, launched on October 1, launched sword-type melee weapons that can deepen the combat and equipment system.Similarly, the Pioneer module and directional trading system, scheduled to be updated in November, are expected to bring "significant changes" to the game.
"First Descendant" is now available for free on PS4/PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC (Steam) platforms.
