Battlefield 6 live-action promotional video was released, and the trailer used an all-star lineup to publicly mock the celebrity skins of Call of Duty, and then blow them all up, giving way to real soldiers.
Live promotional video:
All-Star lineup:
Professional basketball star Jimmy Butler plays engineering soldier
Country singer Morgan Wallen plays support soldier
Professional martial artist Paddy Pimblett plays the scout
Actor Zac Efron plays assault trooper
In fact, this is by no means the first time the Battlefield series has publicly mocked COD. As early as the era of Battlefield 3 15 years ago, EA and DICE have done this in the promotional video.
Above and beyond the Call
"Bloody action, super high intensity combat, and unprecedented battlefield destruction! When the war-torn New York City was attacked by the Peace Corps and was on the verge of collapse, our hero team started a head-on confrontation with them... This is the full-scale war, this is "Battlefield 6"! October 10th, assemble and deploy!"
