Recently, "Famitong" released the sales estimates of domestic game physical software in Japan from September 1 to September 7, 2025.In terms of new works, the PS5 version of "Borderlands 4" is the only new work to rank among the top ten in sales, with retail sales of 13,029 copies in the first week, failing to surpass "Mario Kart: World".

In terms of hardware, the Switch 2 sold 44,278 units, the PlayStation 5 series sold 21,703 units, the Switch series sold 19,049 units, the Xbox Series sold 125 units, and the PlayStation 4 series sold 13 units.
