In its latest video, MLiD shared the specific technical specifications of the "PS6 handheld console".It is reported that this handheld console will be released at the same time as the more powerful PS6 home console.
MLiD pointed out that it has seen "multiple documents" that the planned PS6 handheld console can be docked like a Switch, and said that after docking, it can run games natively with performance that exceeds the basic version of PS5.
It is reported that the PS6 handheld will be equipped with an AMD APU, which contains four Zen 6c cores and two cores dedicated to system tasks.In addition, the PS6 is said to be equipped with a 16 x RDNA 5 CU GPU, with the main frequency of 1.2GHz in handheld mode and 1.65GHz in dock mode.
Based on the specification cost, the retail price of the PS6 handheld may be around $500 and will be available at the end of 2027.
