《沙丘:觉醒》主机版将在PC发售一年后上线

"We're trying to launch on consoles sometime next year. Our work has just begun after the game is launched on PC. Dune: Awakening is currently running on PS5, but there are a lot of texture issues and there's still a lot of work to do. Then we have to meet the various needs of different console platforms and optimize the game shaders to run on different console hardware, so there's still a lot of work to do. We usually think it's going to take about a year to get it to run on consoles. So yes, sometime next year, maybe we'll be launching a game with GTA6."

"Dune: Awakening" will be released on June 10, 2025, and the console version may be released in June 2026, while "GTA6" is currently scheduled to be released on May 26, 2026.

Funcom is not clear whether it supports cross-platform gaming.

"We are still communicating with Microsoft and PlayStation to decide whether to support it, so we have not actually made a decision yet. But from our technical point of view, this is no problem for us because we run these servers and the game will connect to our services. So that's not a problem in itself, but it depends on the opinions of the platform holders; we need to have these conversations. We haven't had such conversations yet."

It should be noted that Microsoft and Sony have not encountered any problems with cross-platform gaming at least in the past few years.Today, cross-platform online has become the standard for new online multiplayer games.
