Recently, foreign media IGN brought the real machine for the developer's commentary on Obsidian "Outside World 2", which mainly displays elements such as character inventory system, mobile, first-person shooting combat, UI and scene design.
The video is explained by Obsidian Game Director Brandon Adler and Design Director Matthew Singh. The work is the sequel to the first-person RPG "Outside World" and is scheduled to be released on October 30.
At the opening night live event of Cologne exhibition on August 20, Xbox released a companion trailer for "Outside World 2", which mainly shows the five companions in the game.
The appearance design of the five companions has a distinct DEI style, which has once again sparked strong criticism on foreign social media. One user pointed out that the visual language of "Outside World 2" is obviously very similar to the SIE game "Agent of Star" and both are from California developers.
"This is a random comparison between Outer World 2 and Agents. Note the weird obsession with mushrooms and the chaotic color scheme that ignores design norms. This type of design is almost always from developers in California, showing the so-called progressive thinking they breed in the echo chamber."

Another user criticized: "Ugly ugly companion, DEI-style display. Who said no one can defeat Agent Star Ming?"
A user left a message below the official Xbox push and said sarcastically: "This companion lineup is not diverse enough. I haven't seen a Mexican transgender quadriplegic person with autism!"
Speaking of "Agent Star Ming", today is the first anniversary of "Agent Star Ming" release/death...
