Today, 2K and Visual Concepts launch the Nintendo Switch™ 2 version of WWE 2K25, as well as the third batch of five characters’ DLCs.The "WWE 2K 25" version of Nintendo Switch 2 supports all game modes and game types, and also provides offline mode and online mode functions.The Fearless Pack is the latest DLC character pack, which includes a range of past and present WWE superstars, including New Jack, Jordin Grace, Penta, Bull Nakano and celebrity guest PRIME Bottle, and will launch 64 new actions and animations.
WWE 2K25 includes a range of new features, as well as improvements to existing fans’ expectations, including:
● 2K Showcase: The dynasty of lineage: In what IGN France calls the "charming" experience, the new 2K Showcase, hosted by "wise man" Paul Heyman, celebrates one of the most iconic wrestling family dynasties—the dynasty, the Anoa'i, the Fatu and the Maivia family.Players can relive, change and create the history of Blood through iconic historical moments.Relive the key wins, including the 1993 Lord of the Rings against Hulk Hogan, and Rocky Mavia against Hunter Hurst-Helmsley in RAW in 1997.Change history, bring more glory to Blood, and avenge critical defeats, such as Rikish vs. Steve Austin in "Relax 2000" and the 2022 Royal Rumbles Championship between the Roman Empire vs. Seth Rollins.Making history through a fantasy showdown, including the Wild Samoan vs. Dudley Boyz.
● Island: According to VICE predictions, this is an interactive world of four regions built around different WWE themes, "people will go crazy about this island." The island is only available on Nintendo Switch 2, PS5® and Xbox Series X|S, and players have the opportunity to explore and challenge other players while fighting for the WWE contract by impressing the "primitive tribe leader" Roman Empire.By completing tasks, accepting challenges, competing in live events, gaining unlocks, and upgrading and customizing MySUPERSTARS through multiple storylines, the island allows players to jump out of the Rules Outside the Lord of the Rings.
● The lineup of the era: WWE 2K25 brings an unparalleled lineup that includes current superstars of RAW, SmackDown and NXT, as well as Legend and WWE Hall of Fame members.The Daily Star said that the "absolute stack" list has more than 300 playable characters, including Cody Rhodes, Liv Morgan, Rey Mystery, Brett "Killer" Hart, Jacob Fatu, Robert Van Dum, Naomi, Ethan Page, Lita, Los Angeles Knights, Shiner, Batista, Tiffany Straton, Becky Lynch, etc.
● New match types and gameplay improvements: Trans wrestling has appeared in WWE 2K25! WWE superstars from the men’s and women’s departments can now compete against each other in most game modes to create countless new showdowns.Other features include the return of Chain Wrestling, which GamesRadar+ calls “success”, new lineage rules matches and underground matches!
● MyGM vs. Online Multiplayer: Fearless GM can challenge global general managers in enhanced MyGM, which USA Today Sports calls “better than ever.”Now with an online multiplayer mode with up to four players, players can select WWE superstars and legends on their weekly rosters and lead their brands through many weeks of seasons through more general managers, cross-brand senior live events, and more;
● MyFACTION: Favorite card battle mode is back, with updated functions, new content and more gameplay.Factional War now has new nodes and 50 new stages.The World Tour replaces the proving grounds, allowing players to travel to different locations and compete in the order they choose, while providing additional game-type support for live events and online events as well as new community events, improving replayability.New theme card packs, Superstar unique versions of Persona cards available in all game modes, and new challenges will be launched regularly throughout the year with seasonal content updates
● MyRISE: Players guide their custom superstars from the women or men's department in a single, multi-gender MyRISE storyline, Bailey, Kevin Owens and other superstars infiltrate into NXT, trying to control the entire WWE.With new personal choices, it can produce specific storylines, as well as fighting environments, unlockable arenas, characters, available objects, and more, as well as new allies storylines involving Jey Uso, Bianca Belair, Seth Rollins and other WWE superstars.
● Universe: WWE 2K's sandbox mode has been upgraded to give players more control over their cosmic experience, including the return of long-awaited promotions! The new system includes multiple promotion types and results, as well as new cutscenes and branch options; ● Creation Suite: The logo of the WWE 2K series is the best, most detailed, and most powerful creation suite in its class, which GameSpot describes as "unique".It remains one of the drivers of their self-expression when players design their own custom superstars, general managers, referees, arenas, entrances, mobile sets, tournaments, crowd signs, etc.;
● DLC Season Pass: In Blood and Deadman Edition, there are five star-studded DLC character packs planned to be launched, three are currently available, and the other two are planned to be launched in the coming months.The WWE 2K25 DLC roadmap has attracted many surprise celebrities including basketball icon Shaquille O'Neal, fan favorite WWE superstars including Penta, El Grande Americano, The Motor City Machine Guns, Giulia, Stephanie Vaquer and Jordynne Grace, as well as WWE legends including Mark Henry, New Age Outlaw, Jesse Ventura, New Jack, Junk Dog and Tito Santana, giving everyone something to do.
