Build A Rocket Boy Studio has announced two new updates for its underperforming, difficult-to-step action adventure game Mindseye, which includes a host of bug fixes, performance optimization and convenience features. While these jobs are essential to get the game to an acceptable state, the price is to sacrifice one of the most anticipated after-sales content. The linkage between "Eye of Heart" and "Hitman", which was originally scheduled to be launched in July, has now been postponed, and the studio only stated that the relevant content will be launched "when the time is right."
The "Killer" series developer IO Interactive chose "Eye of Heart" as its first third-party distribution project, and the linkage with the iconic character "Agent No. 47" is reasonable and it is natural.Although the full details of this collaboration have never been released, it is reported that the killer will appear in "Red Rock City" of "Eye of Heart".This was originally one of the earliest free content launched in the game's ambitious after-sales plan and was supposed to meet players by the end of this month. However, the linkage with this one of the best stealth games of all time has now been postponed, and a new release date or time window has not been announced yet.
“We apologize for the delay of the Killer × Eye of Heart linkage mission, which was scheduled to be launched in July,” Build A Rocket Boy said in a new message to players. “We look forward to launching this exciting linkage content when the time is right and will provide more updates as soon as it is ready.”
While the game’s Standard Edition and Premium Pass holders will still be on several other new missions, the studio has not stated whether those missions have also been postponed.
After the release, "Eye of Heart" has launched a series of patches to improve its performance on PCs and consoles and fix a wide range of bugs. But Build A Rocket Boy warned that the pace of subsequent updates will slow down. There will be a major update in August, which will not only further optimize the game status, but also add the function of skipping cutscenes. There will be another update in September. But during this time, players should not expect too much other content.“In the future, updates may reduce frequency, but each update is designed to make more meaningful changes,” the studio said.
Given that players are looking forward to a range of after-sales content when buying the game (some players even purchase premium passes extra), Build A Rocket Boy does have to deliver on their promises, but it is clearly a difficult task.I hope to see the "Killer" linkage mission be launched one day, but even if it ends up sinking into the sea, it won't be too surprised.
