Hideo Kojima said he would not play Konami's Metal Gear 3: Remake, which will be released on August 28 and will be available on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series.
Recently, in an interview with the media Ssense, when facing a reporter's question whether he would play this game, Kojima smiled and said, "No, I won't."
A netizen in the comment section said: "Konami is too nasty to him. I remember he was not even allowed to participate and receive the Best Action/Adventure Game Awards won by TGA 2015 on Metal Gear 5."
Some netizens also said that "Metal Equipment 3" does not require super realistic pictures to realize the "real vision", and Kojima's original game is already there.
Some netizens were also scared by other parts of the interview:
Kojima recalls that he had been to a well-known studio to advise on a new stealth game, but was disappointed with the scene in front of him.Kojima said: "People who do military games may not even know how to remove guns or shoot them, so this is really a bit sad."
When asked if he knew how to remove a gun, he replied, "Yes, because I have been doing this kind of training, and I have learned a lot of ways to kill people."
