Japanese Falcom President Ji Yo Kondo recently revealed in an interview with "Famitong" that the company has started early development work for the next project of the "Yasu" series.Source Ryokutya2089 was the first to disclose this information through its blog.
At present, the official has not announced the details of the specific game content, official name, login platform or release date, but the project has entered the initial development stage.Although it will take some time before the official announcement is officially announced, the development team is actively discussing creative solutions and striving not to let fans wait for a long time.
In addition to the orthodox sequel to the series "Yus 11", there are many possibilities for the new project:
· "Yus 5: The Lost Sand Capital Kefen" remake: As the only main work in the series that has not been modernized/remastered, the work has been called for by fans to remake for a long time. President Kondo himself and his team have also publicly expressed their support.
· "Yasu 1&2" is remastered again: Although there is no substantial evidence, it is also one of the potential options
Falcom's current development pipeline also includes:
·New project of "Tokyo Fantasy" led by a young team
·The "Trail" series that maintains stable output
Considering that the "Yesu" series has maintained its popularity through transplant works such as "Philgena's Oath" and "Selsetta's Tree Sea" in recent years, it may be preferred to launch modern platform transplant versions of works such as "Yesu 6" in the future.
The latest work in the series, "Yasu 10: Norman Glory", will be available on the Switch2 platform on July 31, 2025, and the Asian version will be available on Switch2 and Steam on August 21.
