"Hitman: Assassination World" is one of the first games on Switch 2.After the release, players quickly pointed out that there are some technical problems with the Switch 2 version, such as screen stuttering and frame rate drop. Now, IOI said through VGC that the development team is working on solving these issues and will release an update this summer.

"About Killer: Assassination World, the team is currently working on some of the performance issues and plans to address them in the summer," said series director Jonathan Lacaille.
Although the specific time for the fix update has not been announced, IOI said that the process of developing "Killer" on Switch 2 provides valuable experience for them to develop "007: Dawn" in the future. "This certainly has a lot of learning significance for us to develop "007: Dawn" - all of this experience we will bring to the next work."
Lacaille also attributes the ability of IOI to successfully transplant games to their self-developed Glacier Engine, "It allows us to bring games to as many platforms as possible with less resistance. From this perspective, we can easily port the game as long as there is a new platform launch."
In addition to platforms such as PC, PS5 and Xbox Series, IOI's next game, "007: Dawn", will also be available on the Nintendo Switch 2.
"As for Switch 2, Nintendo has always been a good partner for us, and we used to bring Killer to the original Switch in the form of cloud gaming, and now, the Switch 2 is a powerful device - powerful enough to bring 007: Dawn to this platform in its native form," Lacaille said.
