Singapore-based independent game publisher Soft Source is pleased to announce that the new Detective Art Deco visual novel "Mato Fragments" has joined our game lineup planned to be released in 2025.
"Mato Fragments" from Hong Kong development studio Arrowiz is the latest work of its "Mato Series", formerly known as "Mato Anomalies".Founded in 2016, Arrowiz is committed to telling stories that combine dark fantasy with unique investigative mechanisms through interactive novels. His representative works include "Mato Anomalies" and "Hermitage: Strange Case Files".
This time, Soft Source is happy to work with Arrowiz to present the origin story of Neo City."Mato Fragments" adopts a unique visual style. Players will enter the core area of the city and play the role of "My Lady" owner of the "Yeyan" photo studio - a photo studio owner who seems ordinary but actually has a secret mystery.

Mato Fragments tells the origin of Neo City, an oasis city in the jazz-era style that exists between dystopia and ruins.The city is a blend of diverse cultures, timelines and technology.Yet, as a plot to subvert the city emerges, Neo City’s fragile peace is at stake.
