The developer stressed in a brief statement released on social media that he is "doing his best efforts" to resolve "most" issues as soon as possible and will update the progress to players "once there is more information."

After players also discovered that the PC version of Star Blade added D encryption - which made some players dissatisfied - the studio also took the opportunity to release a chart indicating that DRM has "optimized debugging to maintain the average frame rate stable, and in some cases the lowest frame rate is even higher."

The studio stressed: "Full support MOD, no restrictions. PSN connection is completely optional and is by no means necessary. The content of the PC and PS5 versions is exactly the same. We will ensure that early buyers are not at a disadvantage with future updates."

Last year, "Jedi Soldier 2" was bombarded with negative reviews by players for mandatory PSN accounts, resulting in the game being removed from the shelves in 177 countries. The company quickly changed its decision after public opinion rebounded. At present, it seems that Star Blade is facing similar problems, although Shift Up has stated that PSN accounts are only optional and not required.
