Game developer Techland announced the new work of the "Disappearance" series - "Disappearance: Sleeping Beasts" at last year's Cologne Game Exhibition.The new work is inspired by the second DLC of "The Deserted Light 2".But as this expanded content continues to grow, its scale has gradually become larger.So the developer finally decided to develop it into a brand new independent work.The new work not only builds a new map composed of multiple ecological areas, integrates innovative game mechanisms, but also brings the early protagonist Kyle Crane back to the battlefield in 2015.

Although the volume of this 18-hour stand-alone work is smaller than the main story, it has a fulfillment level far beyond ordinary DLC: it has introduced partitioned ecological landforms, vehicle system regression, mechanism comprehensive upgrade, and a dynamic weather system has been added.The story tells the story of Kyle, who has experienced many years of human experiments, sees the light of day again with revenge, anger and beast-like new abilities.
