According to Japan's Kyodo News Agency, on October 9, Japan's largest second-hand trading site Mercari (Coal Stove) issued new rules to combat reselling, banning certain overheated products that can easily cause disputes and inflated prices from being put on the shelves. Overheated products, including Switch 2, are among the restrictions.

·Although Mercari has previously formulated a number of measures to restrict malicious reselling, the effect has been minimal. This new rule will allow Accord to review and put on the shelves those overly popular products with inflated prices that are likely to cause too many disputes, such as the officially named Switch 2, Pokémon cards, McDonald's Happy Meal, etc.
