Full Circle's Skateboard didn't perform well when it launched in early access, suffering from connectivity issues and complaints about repetitive gameplay, but it's moving forward. The first season will be launched on October 7, and will introduce new areas, 40 new challenges, and more than 200 cosmetic items for players to use.Check out the trailer below for details.
Season One will see the debut of two seasonal events - Skate-o-Ween and 7-Ply Maple Harvest - as well as the Skate Pass. The latter uses the same model as Premium Warbonds in Submarine 2, where players can use Tix to unlock rewards.Players need to purchase a Premium Pass to obtain the corresponding items, but there are also free cosmetic items in the game, including new badges, emoticons, clothing, etc.
Although the first season contains a total of more than 80 rewards, it is relatively short and the second season will start in December. From that point on, subsequent seasons will be longer and offer 100 items.Any SVB a player earns in the current pass can be used to purchase the next pass.
"Skate" has launched early access on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4 and PS5 platforms.Stay tuned for more details on Season 1, with roadmap details available here.
