The beta version of "Call of Duty: Black Ops 7" has been online for a few days.Over the weekend, a forum post started circulating that showed the word "Arc Raiders" appearing only as an asterisk in Call of Duty's chat lobby. This situation has been confirmed by the media: they found that it was perfectly normal to send the words "arc" and "raiders" separately, but when they were combined, they were blocked.
Naturally, one would think that this was a bold move by Activision to deliberately block the titles of new games from competitors - and that's certainly a possibility. But if that’s the case, why not block “Battlefield 6”? In response, Activision stated that the block was just an error in the lobby text filter.
In the meantime, the shielding issue has been fixed with a patch, and you can now type "Arc Raiders" in Black Ops 7 without any issues.
Whether it was a mistake or not, Embark Studio took the matter in stride. They joked on theThis wave of responses is interesting.
Now it seems that it may just be the text filtering software used by Activision in the lobby of "Black Ops 7", which somehow included "Arc Raiders" on the sensitive word list.
