Square Enix has released a new trailer titled "Worlds and Factions" for the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Final Fantasy 7: Remake Intergrade.The trailer system introduces Midgar, the Shinra Corporation, and other important organizations in the world of "Final Fantasy 7: Remake Intergrade".

"Final Fantasy 7: Remake Intergrade" will be launched on the Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch2 platforms on January 22, 2026, and a trial version is planned to be released before the end of 2025.Currently, "Final Fantasy 7: Remake" and "Final Fantasy 7: Rebirth" are available on PlayStation 5 and PC versions released through Steam and Epic Games Store.
"Final Fantasy 7: Remake Intergrade" will fully include the main content of "Final Fantasy 7: Remake" and the DLC "INTERmission" starring Yuffie Kisaragi.The Switch 2 version will run with "smooth performance and clear image quality" at 30 frames.It is worth mentioning that this new version specially adds a "streamlined progress function", which allows players to focus more on the plot experience by enabling a variety of auxiliary functions.Players will always have unlimited MP and HP, unlimited extreme skills and ATB slots in battle, which can cause 9999 points of fixed damage, and can more easily acquire weapon skills, etc.
According to director Naoki Hamaguchi, the functionality of the Nintendo Switch 2 allowed Square Enix to "reproduce Midgar with complete specifications," thus enabling the porting of "Final Fantasy 7: Remake Intergrade" to the platform.As an important part of Square Enix's multi-platform strategy, "Final Fantasy 7: Rebirth" and "Final Fantasy 7: Remake Part 3" will also be launched on the Nintendo Switch2 and Xbox Series X|S platforms.
