The following is the new content added to the game since the launch of Kickstarter crowdfunding:
Extended cooperation mode: Deathground was originally designed to support 1 to 3 players, and now it can support up to 4 people to play together, bringing more tactical diversity and social gameplay.
Six playable characters: The number of playable characters lineups doubled, from 3 to 6.These include scouts, engineers, survival experts, and new medics, as well as two remakes of Kickstarter’s initial role: Observer and Hunter.
Custom equipment configuration: The equipment is no longer bound to specific characters.Tools such as motion detectors, cracking devices, anesthesia rifles, medical kits, etc. can be equipped with any profession, and more tools are planned to be added in future updates.
More diverse tasks and scenes: In addition to the three maps originally promised, Deathground now also includes tutorial maps, interactive training grounds, and scenes with new narrative items and plot-to-collection items that add storylines and related achievements. The mission objectives are now more complex, involving multi-stage interactions.
More in-depth stealth and survival mechanisms: The stealth system adds hidden points such as lockers, wooden barrels, ventilation ducts, and natural covers such as tall grass. The mobile system optimizes the functions of sliding shovel, crouching switching, leaning observation and back viewing, providing tactical control space; while sound traps such as broken glass will increase tension and require players to act cautiously.
Smarter dynamic behavioral AI: The enemy AI has been fully transformed, with new behavioral patterns and supporting animations added. For example, Velociraptors can now drag players out of their hiding places, while Meijilong can track players through winding ventilation ducts to continuously create a tense atmosphere.
Defense Mechanism: Players can now fight back (although limited resources), such as throwing items such as bottles to distract or stun the dinosaurs, or temporarily subdue them with anesthetics.
Now is a good time to add a wishlist to Deathground on Steam, which will open early access next week.It will be sold for $14.99 by then.
