There are rumors that Bloober Team is developing Silent Hill 3: Remake, which is expected to be released in 2028. Bloober Team is also producing a new IP inspired by Resident Evil and a brand new Silent Hill original game.
Bloober Team was responsible for developing Silent Hill 2: Remake. Since then, the studio has launched a new IP "Time Traveler: Dawn of Rebirth", which stitches games such as Resident Evil and Death Space.
Recently, the studio has confirmed that it is developing the Silent Hill 1: Remake, which was originally released in 1999.In addition, Bloober Team also said they are working on six other mysterious projects, two of which are allegedly still related to Silent Hill.
According to Polish media Stockwatch, Bloober Team recently held a conference call with investors.When asked which projects are currently developing, the studio's official translator replied: "We have two first-party production teams, one of which is in charge of the Silent Hill 1 project, and the other has already started working on the next one." In addition, "there are currently five second-party projects in progress."
When asked how many projects they are developing for Korami, Bloober Team's translation responded: "The board of directors has officially announced another agreement with Korami to involve one project." This means that their current cooperation with Korami is limited to "Silent Hill 1: Remake".
However, although Bloober Team's official statement is more cautious, rumors say the studio plans to launch "Silent Hill 3: Remake" in 2028, while "Silent Hill 1: Remake" is expected to be released in 2027.The rumor comes from the French horror game media Biohazardultimate.The media also claims that Bloober Team’s other mysterious projects include a brand new original work from Silent Hill.
As for plans outside of Silent Hill, Biohazardultimate revealed that Bloober Team is producing a "new IP inspired by Resident Evil" and is expected to be released in 2026.It is not clear how the new work will draw on Resident Evil, but it may take a "inspirational tribute" approach just as Time Traveler: Dawn of Rebirth is clearly influenced by Death Space.
Finally, the French source also said that Bloober Team is preparing two brand new unknown IPs and a derivative story titled "Parallel story Cronos", but no specific date yet.It should be noted that these are only rumors, not official news, and internal plans may change at any time.
