"Final Fantasy 7: Rebirth" is the second work of the Square Enix's "Final Fantasy 7" remake trilogy, released in February 2024. In response to some players' concerns about the commercial performance of "Final Fantasy 7: Rebirth", game director Naoki Hamaguchi recently publicly responded, saying that the game's sales are good and the development of the final chapter of the series is progressing steadily as planned.
Recently, in an interview with foreign media, Naoki Hamaguchi conveyed a clear confidence to players: "Finish Fantasy 7: Rebirth" performed very well on both PS5 and PC platforms. We understand the worries of some fans, but please rest assured that we will be able to deliver a complete and high-quality final chapter of the series."
Hamaguchi further revealed the recent development status of the third work: "The development progress is extremely smooth, and the overall shape of the game is clearly visible. A large amount of content has reached the playable state, and the game direction and framework have also been firmly established. The current team is focusing on comprehensive optimization and polishing."
