Independent game studio Bippinbits has joined hands with creative game publisher Kepler Interactive to officially release its new promotional video for its new work "PVKK: Planetenverteidigungskanonenkomandant".This sci-fi-style planetary defense simulation game will be officially launched on the Steam platform in the summer of 2026.
The promotional video was unveiled at the Opening Night Live warm-up session of the Cologne game exhibition, and players can learn about the latest gameplay details and core features in advance.
Game featured gameplay
In "PVKK", the player will transform into a defensive commander stationed in the bunker and shoulder daily combat tasks:
• Preparation: Receive headquarters intelligence and routine briefings and prepare for combat.
• Aim: Accurately adjust the gun shooting angle by operating upgradeable equipment in the bunker.
• Fire: Fire giant planetary defense cannons to fight against the continuous attacking alien enemy forces, and guard the facilities safely.
In addition to intense combat, players can also use Teleradio to learn about planetary news in bunkers, participate in brain assessments, order supplies, and even relax through mini-games (players who have developed Dome Keeper will feel familiar).
Offline trial opportunity
At this year's Cologne Games Show in Germany (Gamescom 2025), players will be able to try the game on-site at Indie Arena Booth (10.2 Pavilion), which will be open for a limited time from August 20 to August 24.The exhibition area will be equipped with an immersive physical controller, where players can turn the switch and adjust the knobs by themselves to simulate the operation of the turret and resist the attack of enemy troops.
In addition, PVKK will also be unveiled at other international game exhibitions such as the Tokyo Video Games Exhibition (TGS), and provide trial versions.
