Despite the many changes in Metal Gear 3: Remake, Korami is working to retain the charm of the original in many ways. This is reflected in the addition of classic filters to the game, the use of classic operating modes, and the use of the same script as the original work.In addition, the game has also added a "secret theater" to provide a funny ending for some cutscenes and add humorous elements.
Korami revealed for the first time in the extended display of the press conference that the game retains the same picture style as the original. The developer confirmed that the new version has added a brand new "secret theater" video, but why not refurbish the old version of the video? In the latest issue of "Metal Equipment - Production Hotline", the creative producer revealed that this is the idea of cuttingscene supervision.
"The core person in charge of the original video is still on the team, and he is actually the cutscene supervisor for Metal Gear 3: Remake. He believes that it is better to present these funny clips with the original image. He proposed that if you want to use a new image, you should re-create the video - even if you can only make a small part. So we retained the existing scenes and made some new content with the new image."
Players can collect "Secret Theater" videos as collections by defeating enemies, but it is not clear how much new content will be added.
"Metal Equipment 3: Remake" will be available on Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC platforms globally on August 28.
