Investors post hinting that "Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War 4" may be under development

"Dawn of War 3" is the first two dark-style RTS games that can be regarded as the collective memory of a generation of players. But since the third installment with a broken reputation in 2017, Relic has not returned to the Warhammer 40K universe.During this period, they experienced major changes such as the release of "Age of Empires 4" and "Heroes 3" and parting ways with Sega to become an independent studio. And now, a Linkedin dynamic from investor Emona Capital suggests that Relic's next work may be the return of the "Dawn of War" series.

The clue comes from a linkedin post by Dominik Dolenec, managing partner at Emona. He shared photos of his colleagues visiting the World of Warhammers, including photos with famous Space Marine statues, and an exhibition center featuring giant sand tables. The post is accompanied by words: "The trip to Games Workshop in Nottingham has gained a lot. Thank you Owen Rees for taking us to experience the magic of Warhammer! Looking forward to deepening cooperation in the future."

The key information is hidden in the marked Owen Rees, the authorized head of Games Workshop, who has led six Dawn of War projects (including DLC).The emoji in the dynamic hints at the video game collaboration, and the Relic cultural shirt exposed in the corner of the Dolenec photo almost explicitly that the meeting is directly related to Relic.

This is of great significance to Relic and the Dawn of War series.Considering that Saber Interactive has taken over the Space Marine series, the most likely product of Relic’s reconstruction collaboration with Games Workshop is the new work “Dawn of War”.
