Recently, former Infinity Ward developer and former Call of Duty animator Chance Glasco was interviewed by foreign media. He talked about his experience in developing Call of Duty and his views on the development of the series.
"It's almost like The Simpsons," Glasco said. "It lasted so long that it felt like they were no longer creative at times. The COD series was a bit off the beat."
"I still like to play Warzone, but I can hardly play Call of Duty except this part."
Glasco talks about COD past, saying, "Multiple player really attracts people, and over time it's huge. I won't say it peaked in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, but that's probably the best game we've made."
However, Glasco obviously doesn't want to go back to those days: "I spent more time making World War II games than the United States actually participated in World War II, so it felt refreshing to turn to modern settings."
