After only a little over a year of release, Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile has been removed from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, and has terminated support for the game.

Call of Duty: War Zone Mobile Game was launched in March 2024 and was jointly developed by Activision Shanghai Studios, Beenox, Digital Legends and Solid State Studios to support sharing progress with War Zone console and PC versions.

This is the second COD mobile game launched after the Call of Duty Mobile, which was developed and continuously supported by Tencent Tianmei Studio in 2019.

Activision said in a statement released on Friday that it decided to terminate support for Warzone Mobile because the game "failed to meet our expectations for mobile players as it did in the PC and console players community."

Starting now, players will no longer be able to purchase digital currency, and the mobile version of War Zone will not release any new season content.

From May 19, the game will not be available in the store.However, players who install the game before this date will be able to continue online matching.
