Jade Raymond is from Montreal, Canada. She has worked for Sony Online Entertainment (SOE), EA, Ubisoft and Google. She has served as the producer of games such as The Sims Online, Assassin's Creed, Star Wars: Frontline 2, and leads Stadia Games and Entertainment, a cloud gaming service owned by Google.

In 2021, Jade Raymond established his own game studio Haven Entertainment Studios (now known as Haven Studios), and SIE further announced the acquisition of Haven Studios to include it in its lineup.

In 2023, PlayStation released the first trailer for "Fair Game $", which is similar to "Payday", but has a relatively streamlined scale.

However, since the fall of 2023, news of poor development of Sony's long-term operating games has been reported one after another. Although a lot of resources have been invested, some special projects have been cancelled.By 2024, there will be a disaster-level failure case "Concord", which was forced to be removed from the shelves within two weeks of its launch.

Although Sony did not disclose the specific reason for Jade Raymond's departure, sources pointed out that the move happened a few weeks after Fair Game $'s first external test.According to people familiar with the matter, the test results have aroused internal concerns about the game's feedback and progress, which has attracted the attention of the outside world about Jade Raymond's resignation and the future of the project. These sources requested anonymity because they were not authorized to speak publicly.Jade Raymond himself has not commented on the matter yet.

A PlayStation spokesperson said: "Jade Raymond is the founding promoter and visionary leader of Haven Studios. We express our deepest gratitude to her leadership and contributions, and wish her all the best in the future."

It also emphasized that PlayStation will continue to support the development of Haven Studios and will be led by new joint studio director Marie-Eve Danis and Pierre-François Sapinski.

"Fair Game $" was originally scheduled to be released in fall 2025, but it has now been postponed to spring 2026.
