“This journey is crazy!” Paul Jeal, senior brand manager at PLAION, said in a press release. “Every moment of working with Caged Element to develop Rapids is enjoyable, especially the enthusiasm and commitment shown by the player community. With everyone’s help, we have laid a solid foundation for the game and it’s great to see it usher in version 1.0.”
Chris Mallinson, game director at Caged Element, added: "Our goal is to create the most 'green-skinned' Warhammer 40K' game. Through the early access phase, thousands of players have achieved this goal with their former publisher PLAION. Now taken over by Wired Productions, we will launch the official version in a new way - I believe players will like this change. Thanks to the two partners for their strong support with Games Workshop. I am very happy to be working with Wired Productions again (previously co-developed GRIP). Leave no-nonsense, WAAAGH!!!"
"Reunion with Caged Element is like going home. I sincerely thank PLAION for its efforts for a smooth transition over the past few months. Based on the outstanding early access results, we have prepared a lot of surprises for the long-term operation after the official launch," said Leo Zullo, managing director of Wired Productions.
