Bandai Namco is considering making a remake of its 2011 fighting game "Iron Fist TT2" for a modern gaming platform.
During a group Q&A session at the 2025 Bahrain Comic Exhibition, someone asked Katsuhiro Harada, the director and producer of the Iron Fist series, whether Bandai Namco would consider re-release Iron Fist TT1 or Iron Fist TT2.In response, he admitted that the development team is indeed considering this issue and is discussing it with the company, and that one of the two games may be remastered at some point in the future.
In addition, Katsuhiro Harada was also asked about the insufficient game mode in "Iron Fist 8".He pointed out that low player demand and difficulties encountered in development are the reasons for the limited available game modes in this fighting game.
If the remake of "Iron Fist TT2" can have an improved picture and have an online mode with a rollback network code, it will definitely attract the "Iron Fist" player group, especially considering the response of "Iron Fist 8" season 2.The system was significantly changed when the second season was released, including increasing chain damage, powerful favorable frame tracking skills, breaking damage by casting skills, and more breaking damage caused by actions in the "explosion" state. These changes result in offenses being stronger than defense, shortening the duration of the game, and the relationship between different characters feels very similar.Bandai Namco then released an emergency patch in an attempt to bring the game situation back to balance.
