Recently, Too Kyo Games co-founder Xiao Gao and Gang made a clear statement on a social platform that their strategy game "Hundred Days War Chronicle: The Final Defense Academy" has no plans to log on to the PlayStation/Xbox console. This work is published by Aniplex (a Japanese subsidiary of Sony Music Entertainment) and has been launched on the Switch/Steam platform on April 24.
Regarding the misunderstanding of the player community about "releasing a multi-platform version as soon as possible", Xiao Gao and Gang clarified in Bluesky: "The 'multi-language support' mentioned earlier does not involve cross-platform transplants. Regarding the issue of logging in to other devices, although it has been explained many times, it is reiterated here that there is currently no porting solution and the possibility of implementation is slim."
And Xiao Gao and Gang once revealed: "This game has exhausted all the funds and human resources of Too Kyo Games, and the team is even responsible for development. We are on the verge of operating cliffs."
Currently, "Hundred Days War Chronicle: The Final Defense Academy" maintains an equal media score of 85 points in Metacritic, with a 90% praise rate on the Steam platform. Its commercial performance will become the key to determining the survival of the studio.
