Netflix游戏负责人:8岁小孩不想着要PS6

Netflix has been working silently in the gaming industry for many years, and has hired many experienced gaming industry veterans to promote the ability of electronic games to play on the Netflix app for tens of millions of users. However, most of the games launched by Netflix are small-scale mobile game-style works, rather than 3A masterpieces on home computers.

In an interview with The Game Business, Alain Tascan, president of Netflix’s gaming business, said that the current console game model is not the future of the industry.

"When it comes to hosting, the platform will become irrelevant for the future. Look at the younger generation. Will eight and ten year olds dream of having a PS6? I'm not sure.

They want to interact with any digital screen, no matter what it is, wherever it is, even in the car.For hosts, you'll think of high definition, you'll think of controllers... If we stick to this old pattern, I think that would limit us.”
