Recently, Shams Jorjani, CEO of "Jedi 2", reviewed the journey of "Jedi 2" in 2024.The game went through a bad review bombing and then won several annual awards, which was a thrilling twelve months.
Jorjani revealed that the influx of "unexpected" players from different gaming communities has left them unaware of how to deal with it."We never thought about designing "Jedi" for COD players, but 6 million COD players bought our game. They were interested in something different than those from "Escape from Takov" and "Armed Raiders."
Jorjani also shared the key to turning the situation around "Jedi 2".The team keeps making meaningful updates, bringing player ratings from a dismal 19% to 94%.In the end, the game became one of the most popular and award-winning games of 2024.
"The core contradiction in that period we called 'Summer of Pain' was how to balance studio creation philosophy while also dealing with demands from different players," Jorjani said.
Hell 2 ended up being one of the most successful games of 2024, despite its hard journey. In January, Arrowhead confirmed that it was conceiving the framework for the next game, but no one knew what it would look like.
