Recently, Cloud Imperium released the Alpha version 4.1 of "Interstellar Citizen" and introduced the update content. The official also released a new game trailer, let’s take a look!
Brand new trailer:
Alpha 4.1 adds a new burrowing worm fauna called "Juvenile Varaka".In addition, NPCs around the landing zone and outposts have been updated, adding dozens of brand new dynamic conversations, new DNA faces and animations.Further enriching the diversity and immersion of NPCs.
Cloud Imperium also improves collision physics.Ship collision damage processing now uses physically transmitted complete collision data. This means that mass and velocity will be fully calculated in the collision, making the collision behavior between all ships (regardless of size).
Star Citizen Alpha 4.1 adds a new sandbox activity: calibration and mining. In this event, players need to go to the two satellites of the Stanton Galaxy (Aberdeen and Demar), which are equipped with 3 Hasso ground calibration facilities and 1 orbital mining space station respectively.Players need to enter the ground facility to obtain the key card, unlock the new area, and use the terminal calibration antenna to dock with the upper orbital space station. After all 3 ground facilities are calibrated and batteries are obtained from each location, players need to go to the orbital space station and use the batteries to activate the orbital mining beam of the space station. The player then returns to the ground facility and activates the final terminal, and the beam will be activated and shot from space. This will open a new mine with rich mineral resources, where players conduct FPS or ground vehicle mining.
