Denof Wolves, a new work developed by GTFO developer 10 Chambers, is still a collaborative shooter, but it is easier than GTFO or Harvest Day 2, which was previously developed by the studio's producers, and does not even require communication between teammates.
In an interview with PC Gamer, 10 Chambers co-founder revealed: "We're looking at how to make a game that can be easily played with other people, ignoring language barriers, technical differences or something. Even if you don't want to use voice, or are not social, or don't have a microphone, or have a sleeping kid around you who don't want to wake them up, for whatever reason, you should be able to complete your tasks in a way that you can never do in GTFO."
In GTFO, communication and cooperation are very important, such as assassinating a powerful enemy at the same time, or assassinating multiple enemies at the same time, or blocking wave enemies assassinating a discussion on how to build a fortification.GTFO is a game that focuses on strategy and collaboration, and maybe Den of Wolves will simplify that.
Like GTFO, players do not have to use voice to convey important information, but furthermore, Den of Wolves will enhance the in-game communication system and will also list tasks more clearly.
"Players can use included voice commands, such as ‘help me’ or ‘focus on this important goal’. Players can also mark enemies and so on. This makes it easier to collaborate."
Den of Wolves is expected to be released in early access this year, on PC, and later on the PS5 and Xbox Series after the PC version is launched.
