Development background
After the 2021 "Total War Simulator" ended its early experience, the Landfall team began to conceive a new work.We tried multiple prototypes, one of the small parkour testing projects was originally used only to verify the multiplayer mode scheme—until the lead designer Wilhelm Nylund sent the prototype video to the X platform, accidentally causing virality.
In the next few months, the team focused on gameplay expansion: the pleasure of running at high speed has been verified, but how can we extend more fun?The "multi-player chicken racing mode" that was originally conceived was eventually abandoned and focused on creating a single-player level-breaking experience - integrating program generation levels, ability upgrade systems and character growth elements.This is the first time Landfall has incorporated complete characters and plot narratives into its iconic high-speed gameplay.
