Capcom said it was investigating a key bug that prevented the plot from moving forward.
There have been multiple cases that Monster Hunter: The Wilderness A crucial NPC won't show up where they should. For spoiler reasons, we won't reveal which character might not appear.
Capcom has not disclosed the cause of the problem, but says it is working to fix it.It is not clear whether the patch released late Saturday was responsible for the problem.
Capcom tweeted on social media earlier Sunday, saying it was investigating the issues:
"Hunters, we are currently investigating the following issues. There may be situations where NPCs are not present, causing the story progress of Mainline Mission: Chapter 5-2 "The Upside-down World" to be blocked. We are currently working on solving these issues and provide them when there are further updates."
It is worth mentioning that on March 1, the official recommendation stated that it was investigating that players may frequently display weapon upgrade tutorials when they go to the blacksmith shop, resulting in the disabling of some functions of the menu.
However, the good news is that the problem has been resolved, and the official has launched a hot fix patch Ver.1.000.03.00 to fix the blacksmith shop issue.Players can restart the game and upgrade to the latest version.
