Lightweight MOD API specifically for clients.
The use of Liteloader to load the module can not only enjoy the convenience and speed of various modules, but also retain the original Minecraft very fast startup speed.(Note: Liteloader will reload the resources again, resulting in a slow game when running with a large integrated package.) It is suitable for various auxiliary modules such as small maps, chat bubbles, and HUD.(Liteloader author and famous map module voxelmap author original)
It can be installed directly on the original version, loading the module independently like Forge, or it can also work as a MOD under Forge, which is basically perfectly compatible with FORGE.
Liteloader source code is visible, but according to the license it is not an open source software, nor allows others to contribute code.
Notice
1. Stable LiteLoader will never conflict with the stable Forge, unless the new version of the Forge and the old version of Liteloader (the source of this paragraph is unknown, if there is a problem, please upgrade the two modules loaders to the latest version if there is a problem.) Put it together (1.12 for a while forge changes have broken LITELOADER compatibility);
2. Liteloader can only load the file suffixes of the file suffix to LITEMOD. The file of the module of the forge module modifies the suffix. Liteloader cannot be detected.
3. Liteloader is not a large module, but it is often used as auxiliary modules, because there are relatively few interfaces; at the same time, there is no large -scale module specifically for the client;
4. Liteloader is absolutely non -toxic, unless you are not under the official website;
5. Liteloader generally updates faster than FORGE, but recently Mumfrey dives, so Liteloader 1.13 may be later;
6. Liteloader has Chinese translation;
7. Some modules of LiteLoader will link with the module of FORGE;
8. LiteLoader has stopped updating and ends at 1.12.2. Please use other Modloader and API (RIFT 1.13 ~ 1.13.2 (Has stop), FORGE, Fabric 1.14+, QUIFORGE 1.20.1, 1.14+.+).
Module compatibility
1.8.9 or above Liteloader uses Mixin, but the Mixin version comes with Liteloader is too old, which will cause other modules that use Mixin to fail or game collapse.
There are some ways to use LITELOADER normally in the environment of 1.8.9 or above and have multiple modules using Mixin (such as 1.12.2 greedy integrated package):
It is confirmed that the LiteLoader is installed alone in the MODS folder instead of selecting the forge installation at the same time in the promoter.
Do not use the MixinBootstrap module, the MIXIN containing it may cause compatibility problems.
Sometimes you can try to download the module compatible with Mixin 0.7-0.8 (Mixin 0.7-0.8 Composition).
If you do not use Essential, try to download the MixinBooter module.Its name has "!", Ensure that the new version of Mixin is preferentially loaded by FORGE.
If the game starts when using Essential at the same time, 1.8.9, try the editing version. Json file "name": "org.ow2.asm: ASM-ALL: 5.0.3" This line changed 5.0.3 to 5.2 and supplementedFull files; 1.12.2 do not need MixinBooter, add "!" Directly to the file name of Essential to ensure that being forge is preferred.
1.12.2 Voxelmap, which is not compatible with the ForgE version (Voxelmap), please use the LITEMOD version of the Vegetarian Map.
1.12.2 Extra Foam for Liteloader can solve the problem of conflict collapse with module such as Jei item managers.
Put the required Litemod file in the MODS folder to start playing normally!
