The results showed that 58% of British players prefer to play single-player games; in Japan, this proportion rose to 63%; in the United States, it rose to 65%.In addition, respondents from Thailand (62%) and Germany (60%) also showed a clear preference for single-player games.

The survey also found that preference for single-player versus multiplayer gaming was closely related to player age.Data shows that only 49% of players aged 16 to 24 prefer single-player games; among players aged 25 to 34, this proportion rises to 56%; among players aged 55 to 64, the figure is as high as 64%.Ampere pointed out that the significant difference in preferences between players aged 16-24 and 25-34 "clearly reflects the differences in gaming tastes and concepts between Generation Z and Millennials."

The survey results also show that social circles still have a certain influence on game selection: 24% of respondents said that if their friends are playing a certain game, they will also buy it.
