Recently, Microsoft Xbox President Sarah Bond was interviewed by Fortune magazine, reviewing her early career at McKinsey and T-Mobile, and talking about her passion for games and her current work process.

Sarah Bond said that everything for Xbox still starts with the console, which does not conflict with the current strategy of pursuing multi-platform and everything is XGP. The next-generation console will provide a "powerful experience" and its performance is expected to surpass Sony PS6.
Sarah Bond said: "Xbox is absolutely about hardware, and we know our most loyal gamers love the console experience. That's why we're building next-generation hardware that will deliver powerful experiences while allowing players to take their game library with them."

Now many players are beginning to question, since all Xbox games can be played on PC, mobile, and even PS5, what is the point of buying an Xbox?In the past, a common answer from Xbox players was: "Even without exclusives, XGP is still a good deal." However, this argument has now been impacted. The price of XGP has increased significantly, and all first-party games will be included in the library for the first time.
Sarah Bond responded: "Many people say that XGP is copying the Netflix model, but I think this description is very one-sided. In fact, XGP is much more than that. We support all business models, and players can also freely choose between subscribing to XGP and buying games individually. The key point is to give players as many choices as possible instead of tying them to one model."
