The latest update for Cities: Skylines 2 introduces a wealth of cycling-related features, including new bike lanes, parking options, dedicated paths and multiple policies to support a flexible transportation system. This update also expands public service building types, adds park assets, and introduces a variety of mixed old city style zoning options for Europe and the United States. These new additions are intended to enrich urban design diversity while giving players more tools to manage their ever-expanding urban environments.

In addition to the new content, the patch fixes several gameplay issues, focusing on asset-related crashes, abnormal landmark behavior, and resource transportation glitches.By upgrading resource delivery logic, traffic flow lines have been optimized, and route navigation, tourism systems, crime prevention and control mechanisms and service efficiency issues have been corrected, responding to the main demands of recent community feedback. In addition, it also includes a series of adjustments and improvements to the interface, art and module functions.

Upgrade resource distribution updates and fixes:
Distribution of resources required for building upgrades is now handled by industrial enterprises, resource warehouses, and external connections
The vehicle is as full as possible when departing from the resource owner, accepting new requests and delivering to multiple targets along the way, alleviating the traffic pressure caused by a large number of simultaneous requests in large cities.
A new "Upgrade Building" icon has been added to the information view to indicate residences that are waiting for resources.
When there are surplus resources in the city, the upgraded delivery vehicles will give priority to using the city’s resources.
