
Competitive gameplay is now available in Battlefield!
Watch top players from around the world compete against each other in elite tournaments, or try your luck in open tournaments.
November 21, 2025 - Today, "Battlefield" Studio announced the official launch of the "Battlefield™ Forbidden Clash" Elite Tournament. This is the pinnacle of the "Battlefield" competitive events, showcasing the top competitive content that "Battlefield" can provide on the global stage.The "Elite Tournament" will start on December 11, aiming to further introduce competitive gameplay to the series, while also providing a new way for the community to advance.The initial event will offer a total prize of US$1 million and open up 600 contestants from three regions to compete for the final spot.Not only do they represent the best Battlefield players in the community, but they are also some of the best first-person shooters in the world.
Fifty teams from each region will compete in a unique competitive format: six consecutive "Zone Clash" tactical competitive events.In the end, the top eight teams will face off in a brutal knockout mode called "Proving Ground".This format will be repeated over three match days, and teams will receive "Elite Match Points" based on their performance.
Twitch loot will also be enabled on each game day, allowing viewers who watch EA’s official live broadcast or individual contestants’ live broadcasts to receive rewards.

In addition to the Elite Tournament, the game team is also proud to announce that The Open will be the official Forbidden Clash community event, taking place on Friday, December 12th."Open" provides players of all game levels the opportunity to compete against each other.As long as they invest in the "Open Competition" and practice enough, any team has the opportunity to advance to the "Elite Competition" and compete with the best players in the world.Through Repeat.gg, teams can register to participate in the Open Competition.
In the "Zone Clash" Elite and Open competitions, all events will be played on different platforms and input devices.
