Borderlands 4 update finally fixes class module drop probability issue

Although "Borderlands 4" was a huge success after its release, its performance was not satisfactory in the weeks and months that followed. The glitches and bugs kept piling up, the Halloween event failed, and the game's lack of endgame content frustrated us all.

《无主之地4》更新终于修复了职业模组掉落概率的问题

All these issues focused on erupting before the release of the first paid DLC (a holiday-themed expansion pack), which undoubtedly poured cold water on the celebratory atmosphere.Fortunately, however, the latest weekly update of "Borderlands 4" has solved many of these hot-button issues, and Gearbox has also prepared a "surprise under the Christmas tree" for us.

Let’s talk about the biggest news first – “Bounty Pack 1: How Rush Saved Mercenary Day” is now free for all players and can be experienced immediately. The holiday-themed DLC was originally announced as a paid premium expansion, but Gearbox explained that they couldn't complete all the planned content before it had to be released, so they decided to make it free.In order to ensure that players who purchased the Deluxe Edition and above can still obtain the content corresponding to the prepaid fee, another DLC "Bounty Pack 5" will be launched in the future.

"As a holiday-themed bounty pack, we knew we had to deliver it to everyone before the end of the year. However, the team found that it was time-critical and arduous to cram as much content into "Bounty Pack 1" as originally planned without slowing down the pace of optimizing the player experience of "Borderlands 4."

Of course, this is indeed exciting, but I am even happier that I can finally grind for professional modules without feeling like it is a waste of time: "Professional modules have been adjusted to drop modules corresponding to the current character in use more frequently."

You still have a chance to get career mods for other characters, but now the drop probability will be heavily tilted towards the character you currently control - which is obviously more reasonable.

At the same time, another feature that has been highly requested by players has also been launched: a legendary loot indicator has been added to the combat radar, making high-rarity drops easier to spot.

Another great change is that weekly random missions now have extra starting points. This means you can jump right into the core gameplay of these repetitive missions, without spending minutes waiting for character dialogue or frequently dealing with tedious pre-missions.

The rest of the update log is mainly regular bug fixes and minor adjustments, but these long-awaited changes, coupled with the unexpected change of the first DLC to free, are undoubtedly an important step in turning the game around, which is gratifying.
