The file size of Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, the upcoming action-adventure game from Nintendo and Retro Studios, has been revealed.

A few days before the release of the game, players have already purchased the Japanese zone card of the Nintendo Switch 2 version of "Metroid Prime 4: Beyond".Twitter/X user Genki_JPN shared a screenshot of the box, revealing the game's file size and mentioning the slogan on the box - "Return from the Unknown Planet."

According to the card packaging, the file size of "Metroid Prime 4: Beyond" on the Nintendo Switch 2 platform is 29GB.In comparison, this capacity is more than four times that of the Nintendo Switch platform "Metroid Prime Remastered" (6.8GB).This difference is expected, because this new game is tailor-made for Switch 2 hardware, has richer picture details, and therefore requires a larger amount of data to be stored.
