PlayStation在Steam平台收入超百亿!新作被经典旧作暴打

According to Alinea Analytics data, PlayStation’s cumulative sales on the Steam platform have reached 43 million copies.Among them, "Bad Boys 2" has become the best-selling work in history with more than 12.7 million copies sold, followed by the remakes and remasters of "Horizon: Zero Dawn", "God of War", "Days Gone" and "Marvel's Spider-Man".It is worth noting that all the best-selling works are classic games that have been released for many years, and none of the works recently launched on Steam have generated significant revenue.

Data further shows that the Steam version sales of the latest sequels such as "Horizon: West", "God of War: Ragnarok" and "Marvel's Spider-Man 2" have all declined significantly compared with their predecessors. This phenomenon highlights the waning freshness of PlayStation games on the PC platform - the release of early games on PC was once regarded as an important event, and now Sony urgently needs to re-evaluate its cross-platform distribution strategy.
